UPM introduces UPM MiniWeb apparel inlay with NXP UCODE G2iL

UPM RFID is introducing several new inlays based on the high performance NXP UCODE G2iL UHF RFID chip. The upgraded designs based on this new IC offer high quality and great read performance in a range of applications.

UPM MiniWeb and UPM Web have been designed especially for apparel applications. The UPM MiniWeb design is ideal for smaller label sizes and for close coupling applications.

Both products can be converted into small-sized hang tags and other apparel labels. Due to superior close coupling features, the products can be stacked very closely.

Ideal for apparel applications.

Currently available in volumes is the UPM Belt design. The UPM Belt inlay is a great choice for supply chain management applications. In particular, the product’s 3” wide form factor is a perfect match for apparel supply chain requirements.

Other upcoming products are UPM ShortDipole and UPM DogBone.

UPM ShortDipole suits the needs of demanding supply chain management applications, enabling better RF visibility than the 3” UPM Belt design.

UPM DogBone delivers optimal performance in demanding logistical and industrial applications: it has good tolerance against the detuning effect of high-dielectric materials and provides effective global performance on difficult to tag materials.
All inlays are readily available for end-use pilots.
