International science and practical conference "Advanced technologies of automated identification and e-business. Current state and development prospects." ID COMPETENCE 2011 Minsk, Republic of Belarus, April 27-28, 2011
Aim of the conference: exchange of experience in the field of design and development of automated identification systems, provision of necessary conditions for development of partnership relations between science and practical organizations, equipment manufacturers and users of the automated identification systems at the international level.
Working languages of the conference: Russian, English (interpreter services are offered).
Organizers: National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus, Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus, Belarusian State University, closed corporation "Technique and communications", science and technology association “Infopark” . Coordinator of the Conference: Public enterprise "Center for identification systems".
Target audience: managers of IT departments, experts in development, implementation and maintenance of the automated identification systems, representatives of the manufacturing companies of equipment for automated identification systems, representatives of the science & research and science & practical organizations, representatives of the involved ministries, enterprises an organizations of various patterns of ownership.
Place: conference hall of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (Minsk, Nesavisimosti Av., 66).
Plan of the Conference:
1. Plenary meeting. Reports on the basic lines of development of automated identification technologies.
2. Fundamental studies and practical experience in development of technologies, equipment and automated identification systems.
2.1.Tendencies and prospects of development of technologies and equipment for identification systems basing on the bar codes (linear, two-dimensional, combined logistic labels, etc.)
2.2.Tendencies and prospects of development of technologies and equipment for identification systems basing on the RFID (design and manufacture of equipment and RFID-tags, antennae and chip design technologies, design of RFID-based sensors, problems and prospects of development of energy-efficient RFID-tags and sensors, etc.).
2.3.Biometric identification systems (human and animal identification technologies).
2.4. Leading-edge technologies of automated identification (technologies of building up and managing of sensor networks, Internet of Things, Smart Dust concept).
3. Practical experience in implementation of the automated identification systems in different fields of human activity.
3.1. Adoption of technologies of automatic identification in trade and logistics (ID2Commerce). Yard management (YMS), warehouse management (WMS), transportation (TMS), Manufacturing Execution (MES).
3.2. Adoption of technologies of automatic identification in e-commerce and banking (ID2Business: ONS and EDIFACT networks, RFID based payment systems, customs support of shipments, mobile services, etc.).
3.3.Automated identification technologies in medicine (ID2Medicine: identification of drugs and medical appliances, patient identification, RFID based medical sensors, etc.)
3.4.Automated identification technologies for government (ID2Government: identification technologies for workflow, social identification documents, improvement of quality of citizen service in public institutions, etc.).
3.5.Automated identification technologies for society (ID2Society: education, culture, libraries, registries, archives, sports, recreation, etc.).
4. Round table. Automatic identification technologies in the Republic of Belarus – problems and development prospects.
Registration To make a presentation and introduce publications at the conference a participant should register for the conference and send heads of its reports in MS Word to the Organizing committee. Applications for registration and heads of reports are to be sent at firstname.lastname@example.org not later than March 25, 2011. Non-profit organizations, science & research and educational organizations are invited to participate in the International science & practical conference "ID COMPETENCE 2011" free of charge. Time limit on speeches is 20 minutes. Fee for presentation of products, services and etc. on the "ID COMPETENCE 2011" is 120 Euros exclusive of VAT (Time limit on presentation is 45 minutes).
Participation in the TIBO-2011 Companies participating in the conference "ID COMPETENCE 2011" can be provided stand space for presentation of their products and solutions at the XVIII International exhibition "TIBO-2011" (April 26-29, 2011, Minsk, Pobediteley Av. 20/2, Football Manege Sport Complex). There are several options of participation in the exhibition: separate stand, rent of stand space together with the "ID COMPETENCE 2011" in order to form a joint stand, absentia participation with presentation of promotional materials on the stand of the conference "ID COMPETENCE 2011".
